Love Language Retreat

Live To Know Him Ministry's Michael Car is revving up the Gospel at the Redwood City Seventh-Day Adventist church and would like to invite you to come. The church is sponsoring a free admission retreat, for this weekend, October 29 & 30, featuring James and Rise Rafferty from Light Bearers Ministry. This entire weekend will be a Christ-centered, Faith-focused and Relationship-driven weekend. There will be 5 unique sessions that will build on each other and one final Q and A session that will be unique all on its own.  And no worries if you miss a session, there will be a complete review the following evening.

First session is Friday night at 7:30 pm. Sabbath starts with Divine service at 10 am. And a unique Sabbath school at 11:15 followed by a fellowship meal where all are welcome. We will resume at 2:30 pm and again at 5 pm, immediately followed by Q and A session.
 
Session’s theme will center on the book of Hebrews detailing how to experience, keep, or recover a relationship with God. The foundation of this relationship is love. This love is primarily God’s love toward us, but it also includes our love response to Him, which spills over to others. The book of Hebrews introduces a relational God who speaks to us in the languages of love. There are seven basic love languages that define our relationships with people. They are gifts, physical touch and acts of service, quality time and words of affirmation, correction and commitment. Each one of these love languages is clearly emphasized in the relational language of Hebrews.

This entire weekend is presented with only a request for prayer and encouragement that you join us.
