Dared to Love

Once a man and now a woman
No where can you fit in.
You're swept into the world's gutter
Because the world just sees your sin.

You live outside my moral box
You've strayed so far away.
You don't fit in my living room
In Suburbia, U.S.A.

When I can't see beyond the mask
The world put over you;
I've stopped the process to become like God
Whose love you never knew.

I cannot know my fullest self
Unless I see beyond your sin
And bring to you the love of God,
The lifter of your chin.

I pray today for courage
For myself and fellow outcasts;
That we shine through our blindness
With a love that forever lasts.

Forgiven and a Friend

From my past
Events loom
And haunt me still,
And threaten my soul’s ruin

Memories that try
To get me to stop,
Turn around,
And see my pitiful lot.

Something essential
For the journey I'm on;
Something I need
so I can press on.

Something to remember
The love I've been given;
To realize how short
the journey I'm living.

To slow me up
And don't pass by,
A greater grace,
not a twisted lie.

To remember Your words,
"Father, forgive them."
And see that I am
Forgiven, and a friend.

Sacred Romance

Father, liberate my captive heart and quiet the noisy flow of
negative chatter that continually erupts
like a volcano from my mind.

Open my ears to hear your endearing
Words of love: “ My love for you burns like
a blazing fire my daughter.”

Let not my eyes adjust to the
darkness around me….. Adjust my eyes
to live in the blazing fire of your love.

I yearn for a Sacred Romance with You.
My life has no meaning
without this aching desire for intimacy.
You planted this ache in my heart.

Father, Ignite the fire and let the Romance begin!!

And Father when I think of heaven and eternity
listen to my plea…..

Through out the ceaseless ages
Hold me close to Your magnificent heart
And sing to me heaven’s love song……..

And we’ll dance together through out the heavens
and countless galaxies that You created.

Sunset

I sat upon a glistening beach
And watched the sun set low,
Glorious hues of orange and gold
Cast forth a brilliant glow.

A  gentle breeze caressed my face
And smelled of sweet perfume.
For honeysuckles grew nearby
Lavishly in bloom.

The sea was calm and waves rolled upon
That quiet sandy beach,
And there I saw the Master’s hand
A lesson he might teach.

My thoughts were lifted high above
Earthly toil and care,
and as I gazed upon that scene
I knew my Lord was there.

Painted there before me
In that glorious golden sky,
I saw Gods gracious love
Through all the years gone by.

I felt the Holy Spirit
In the breeze that softly blew,
And like the sea, His power unleashed
He created my heart anew.

Secure in Jesus loving arms
The golden hues were gone,
But there remained a fragrance sweet
And our hearts entwined as one.

One Vision

One man one goal one mission,
One heart one soul just one solution,
One flash of light yeah one god one vision

One flesh one bone,
One true religion,
One voice one hope,
One real decision,
Wowowowo gimme one vision

No wrong no right,
I'm gonna tell you there's no black and no white,
No blood no stain,
All we need is one world wide vision

One flesh one bone,
One true religion,
One voice one hope,
One real decision,
Wowowowowowo

I had a dream,
When I was young,
A dream of sweet illusion,
A glimpse of hope and unity,
And visions of one sweet union,
But a cold wind blows,
And a dark rain falls,
And in my heart it shows,
Look what they've done to my dream

Vision,
Give me your hands,
Give me your hearts,
I'm ready,
There's only one direction,
One world and one nation,
Yeah one vision

No hate no fight,
Just excitation,
All through the night,
It's a celebration wowowowo yeah

One one one

One flesh one bone,
One true religion,
One voice one hope,
One real decision

Life

"I've come to give you life," said God.
The people laughed, called Him a fraud.

They couldn't see that life and death
Were about much more than taking breath.

And still we laugh...or else we cry
When one we love has passed on by.

We grieve as though death's full of harms,
When it's just a sleep in Friendly arms.

Life's a Person, not a thing,
A never-ending rush of Spring.

As surely as we sleep, we'll wake
And never know another ache.

We should remember death's not sad.
Here's the reason to feel bad:

Despite what God came here to give,
Some people never truly live.
